Module 0   Introduction, Aims & Objectives

Including the moral, economic and legal reasons for managing electrical safety using practical examples.  

Module 1   Dangers of Electricity 

Explaining the ways electricity can present danger including shock, burns, arcing, fire & explosions and the way that these dangers occur.  

Module 2   Legislation 

Explaining the duties placed on employers & employees by the general provisions of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, and the more specific provisions of the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.  

Module 3   Course Review 

Reviewing the aims & objectives and verifying acquired knowledge.
